Xarelto tablets 15 mg for prevention of ischemic stroke (rivaroxaban)
What are Xarelto OD tablets 15 mg for preventing ischemic stroke (rivaroxaban)?
Xarelto tablets contain rivaroxaban, a factor Xa inhibitor and anticoagulant. Their primary function is to reduce blood clotting and inhibit the formation of clots in blood vessels. These tablets serve as a means to manage and predict anticoagulation levels in patients. Unlike some medications, Xarelto does not impose specific dietary restrictions, but it does necessitate regular coagulation monitoring and potential dose adjustments.
Xarelto tablets can be used as a preventive measure against ischemic stroke in individuals with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. Research has explored the combination of rivaroxaban with aspirin, which has shown potential benefits in reducing mortality and morbidity associated with coronary artery disease.
