Xarelto OD tablets 10 mg for prevention of ischemic stroke (rivaroxaban)
What are Xarelto OD tablets 10 mg for preventing ischemic stroke (rivaroxaban)?
Xarelto tablets contain rivaroxaban, a factor Xa inhibitor and anticoagulant, which is effective in reducing blood clot formation and preventing blood vessels from becoming prone to clotting. Xarelto tablets are versatile and can be employed for anticoagulation management and prediction, without imposing specific dietary restrictions, except for the need for routine coagulation monitoring and potential dose adjustments.
For patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation, Xarelto tablets offer a means to mitigate the risk of ischemic stroke. Rivaroxaban, the key component of Xarelto, acts as a protective barrier against clot formation in individuals with irregular heart rhythms.
Research studies have explored the combined use of rivaroxaban and aspirin, revealing potential benefits in terms of reduced mortality and decreased morbidity for those dealing with coronary artery disease. This research provides valuable insights into potential treatment options for this cardiac condition.
