What are Tranexamic acid tablets 500 mg?
Tranexamic acid is a synthetic analog of the amino acid called lysine. It works by inhibiting the function of fibrinolytic enzyme called plasmin which relates to bleeding and allergy. Indications:

How to take
Adults should take 750-2000 mg of the active principle a day, dividing this amount into 3-4 doses. Your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your age and symptoms. This preparation contains 500 mg of the active principle in a tablet.
Contraindications: do not use for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with thrombus (cerebral thrombosis, myocardial infarction, thrombophlebitis, etc.), consumptive coagulopathy and renal failure, patients at risk of thrombosis or postoperative immobile patients.
