Tramal tablets 50 mg for cancer pain, postoperative and chronic pain (tramadol hydrochloride, Ultram)
What are Tramal tablets 50 mg for cancer pain and chronic pain (tramadol hydrochloride, Ultram)?
Tramal tablets contain tramadol hydrochloride, a potent opioid analgesic. With a history spanning six decades, it continues to be widely prescribed in numerous countries worldwide. Tramadol hydrochloride operates by binding to opioid receptors and inhibiting the reuptake of monoamines.
Tramal tablets demonstrate effectiveness in alleviating severe pain, such as cancer-related pain, postoperative pain, and chronic pain unresponsive to non-opioid analgesics. Research has indicated that the metabolites of the active ingredient are water-soluble and are excreted via the kidneys, enabling the use of reduced doses even in patients with kidney or liver conditions.
