STRONGER NEO-MINOPHAGEN C P Inj. 20mL - 30 ampoules (hepatitis)
What are Neo-Minophagen injections for hepatitis?
Japanese medical practitioners conducted specialized research into the effectiveness of glycyrrhizin in treating patients with chronic liver diseases. This investigation was carried out over 60 years ago when the Japanese Pharmacopoeia incorporated Minophagen, a product highly recommended for liver inflammatory conditions. Minophagen comprises glycyrrhizin, along with the amino acids glycine and cysteine. Glycine serves to prevent pseudoaldosteronism, while cysteine acts as a detoxifying agent. Prolonged clinical trials were undertaken, involving 84 patients with chronic hepatic cirrhosis. They received 2-7 courses of Minophagen annually over a span of 2-16 years.
Over the subsequent 15-year monitoring period, only 21% of the patients who were administered Monophagen were diagnosed with cirrhosis. Notably, Minophagen finds utility in patients grappling with chronic hepatitis and subacute hepatic dysfunction. Impressively, this medication exhibits a 2.3-fold reduction in mortality rate (p<0.01). Additionally, the efficacy of this drug extends to the treatment of conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, hives, dermal pruritus, drug eruptions, toxicoderma, stomatitis, strophulus infantum, and phlyctenulosis.
