What are Premarin tablets 0.6225 mg (estrogen)?

Indications:

How to take

For ovarian deficiency symptoms, ovarian dysfunction, menopause disorder: adults should take 1-2 tablets (0.625-1.25 mg of the active principle) a day.

For functional uterine bleeding, vaginitis: adults should take 16 tablets (0.625-3.75 mg) a day.

In any case, your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your age or symptoms. 

Contraindications: do not use for pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with breast cancer or endometrial cancer etc. (including history or doubt), thrombophlebitis or pulmonary embolism (including history), coronary heart disease or stroke, etc. (including history), liver disorder, unexplained genital bleeding, untreated endometrial hyperplasia, endometriosis, uterus myoma, heart disease/renal disorder (including history), epilepsy, diabetes mellitus, scheduled surgery within 4 weeks or long-term bedridden state, systemic lupus erythematosus or migraine.

Important information

For the prevention of breast cancer, stroke, and coronary heart disease, patients should receive a regular gynecological check-ups if this medication is prescribed for a prolonged period.
