What is Nichiban surgical tape 25 mm (Nichipore)?
Nichiban surgical tape is a tape for fixing gauze and bandages, for fixing catheters and tubes and for scar protection. It is made from non-woven fabric, mainly consisting of pulp polyester and coated with acrylic adhesives. The tape is flexible and perforated, has high moisture permeability and attaches firmly to the skin. Nichiban surgical tape keeps the covered area dry even when applied for a long period of time, by this, helping to prevent rashes.
Nichiban surgical tape has a high adhesive power, sticking on hair as well as on highly-lipid skin areas such as the forehead. It stays attached with excellent adhesion for a long period of time. Nichiban tape does not show any shadow in the X-ray photography. Also, it cuts off UV rays and prevents pigment deposition on the skin.
