Nailin capsules 100 mg for nail tinea (fosravuconazole, fungi, nail fungi, antifungal, onychomycosis)
What are Nailin capsules 100 mg for nail tinea (fosravuconazole, fungi, nail fungi, antifungal, onychomycosis)?
An active principle of Nailin capsules is fosravuconazole L-lysine ethanolate, an active prodrug converted in the body to ravuconazole, a triazole antifungal agent. It works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, which is a cellular membrane component of fungi. Nailin capsules are effective for the treatment of nail tinea, including tinea pedis (Athlete's Foot) and tinea unguium (onychomycosis). Studies showed that treatment with fosravuconazole starts show effect after the 12 weeks of taking the medicine, with the complete cure at the 48 weeks since the start of the 12-weeks course treatment.
Nailin capsules are generally safe and sufficiently tolerable, and while fosravuconazole does accumulate in the liver, this action is reversible and does not provoke serious hepatic functional disorders.
This medicine cannot heal nails that have once discolored. Nails that have discolored from fungi infection will not recover until new nails grow. Trim the lesioned nail with a file or nail clipper as necessary.
