What are Mucodyne tablets 250 mg for asthma and bronchitis?

An active principle of Mucodyne tablets is L-carbocysteine, a L-cysteine thioether and a non-proteinogenic L-alpha-amino acid. It works by reducing the viscosity of sputum and normalizing mucous membrane function. It improves the expel of mucus and nasal congestion. Mucodyne tablets are used for the treatment of inflammation of upper respiratory tract, acute bronchitis, bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary tuberculosis and chronic sinusitis.

Indications:

• inflammation of upper respiratory tract, 
• acute bronchitis, 
• bronchial asthma,

• chronic sinusitis (drainage purpose).

How to take

Take 2 tablets 3 times a day. Your doctor may adjust the dosage depending on your age and symptoms.

Contraindications: do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
