Mohrus Tape is a well-known non-steroidal pain relief product, widely used for the management of various types of muscle pain. Its primary active ingredient is ketoprofen, with a concentration of 40 mg per sheet. The mechanism of action of Mohrus Tape is grounded in its ability to inhibit the prostaglandin biosynthetic process, leading to the reduction of both inflammation and pain.

Ketoprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), is responsible for the therapeutic effects of Mohrus Tape. It exerts its action by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), which play a crucial role in the production of prostaglandins. Indications: treatment of swelling and pain caused by following: 

• lower back pain, 
• osteoarthritis, 
• shoulder periarthritis, 
• tendinitis/tendovaginitis, 
• peritendinitis, 
• humeral epicondylitis (tennis elbow, etc.), 
• muscle pain,
• external injuries,
• rheumatoid arthritis.

How to use

Adults should apply the plaster to the affected area once a day. 

Contraindications: do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with bronchial asthma, with aspirin-induced asthma or a history of it, patients with a history of hypersensitivity to tiaprofenic acid, suprofen, fenofibrate, or products containing oxybenzone or octocrylene, patients with a history with photosensitivity reaction. Do not use for the patients under the age of 20 or other patients frequently exposed to sunlight such as outdoor activities.

Important information

Never apply the plaster to wounded skin area, mucous membrane, or areas with eczema or rash.

The area of application should be protected from the sunlight with colored clothes or supporters during the treatment and for some time after treatment in order to avoid photosensitivity.
