What are Mobic tablets 10 mg (meloxicam)?
An active principle of Mobic tablets is meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug of oxicam family. It works by selective blocking an enzyme called cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and, by this, reducing prostaglandin activity and relieving inflammation.
Mobic tablets are effective for relieving inflammation and pain associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatic disease. Meloxicam is known to have fewer side effects than naproxen or diclofenac and fewer thromboembolic complications that diclofenac. An active principle is excreted equally in the urine and feces, with a half-life of 15-20 hours.

Indications:

- lumbar pain,
- frosted shoulder,

How to take
Take 1 tablet once a day, after meals. Your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your symptoms. The maximum dosage of 1.5 tablets should not be exceeded.
Contraindications: do not use for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Important information
The duration of the treatment should be prescribed by doctor in charge. However, this medication is not designed for a long-term used.
As this medicine may cause dizziness and fail focus adjustment, avoid driving a car, working at heights or operating dangerous machinery.
If an allergic reaction occurs, patient needs to stop using the medicine and consult with their doctor. If patient is taking any other medication or treatment, they should consult with their doctor in advance.
