What are Melex tablets 1mg for anxiety and stress (Sedoxil, mexozolam)?
An active principle of Melex tablets is mexazolam, a benzodiazepine derivative. It works by acting on the brain's benzodiazepine receptors and helping to relieve anxiety and stress. Melex tablets are effective for the treatment of anxiety, tension, insomnia, depression, sleep disorders disorders in patients neurosis or psychosomatic diseases. This medicine is generally tolerated well, with low levels of sedation and drowsiness, and can be used even for elderly patients. Mexazolam does not affect negatively cognitive or psychomotor performance and helps to improve the memory.

Indications:
- anxiety or tension,
- depression,
- fatigue,
- obsessiveness, fear and sleep disorders in patients with neurosis,
- anxiety, tension, depression and fatigue in patients with psychosomatic disorders (stomach ulcer, duodenal ulcer etc. ).
How to take
Adults should take 0.5-1 tablet (0.5-1 mg of the active principle) at a time, 3 times a day. Your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your age and symptoms. For the elderly patients, the maximum daily dose is 1.5 tablets.
Contraindications: do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, cardiac disorder, liver disorder, renal disorder, or respiratory disorder.
Important information
This medication is not designed for long-term use. The consulting doctor should prescribe the duration of treatment. Usually, it lasts between 1-3 weeks.
Avoid taking alcohol while taking this medicine.
As these tablets may cause sleepiness, avoid driving a car, operating dangerous machinery or working at heights while taking this medicine.
