What are Marzulene S combination granules for gastritis and ulcer (azulene sodium sulfonate, L-glutamine)?

Marzulene S combination granules contain two active principles: azulene sodium sulfonate and L-glutamine. Azulene sodium sulfonate is a derivative of azulene, a substance derived from chamomile-like plant of Asteraceae family. It is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties and is often used for the treatment of ulcer, gastritis, tonsillitis, stomatitis and conjunctivitis. L-glutamine is an amino acid naturally produced within the body. It improves the blood flow in the gut and promotes the healing of ulcers.

Marzulene S combination granules are effective for improving symptoms in patients with gastritis, gastric or duodenal ulcer.This medicine is also found to be effective for the prophylactic treatment of gastric diseases caused by Helicobacter pylori.

Indications:

• reducing the inflammation of the stomach and duodenum,

How to take

Adults should take take 1.5-2 g a day orally, dividing into 3-4 times. Your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your age and symptoms. 

Please note that 1 pack contains 0.67 g of the medicine.

Contraindications: do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
