Lyrica OD tablets 75 mg for neuropathic pain (Pregabalin)
What are Lyrica OD tablets 75 mg for neuropathic pain (Pregabalin)?
An active principle of Lyrica OD tablets is pregabalin, a gabapentinoid inhibiting certain calcium channels. Pregabalin suppresses release of excitatory neurotransmitters, such as glutamic acid, in the central nervous system. As the result, Lyrica OD tablets help to tranquilize over-excited nerves and to relieve pain.
Lyrica OD tablets are effective against pain associated with diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia, central neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia and restless leg syndrome. Pregabalin is also clinically proven to be effective for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. In this case, it reduces psychosomatic anxiety symptoms, improves sleep and does not develop tolerance. Also, Lyrica OD tablets are prescribed as an additional treatment for drug-resistant partial seizures in patients with epilepsy. These tablets have a high oral bioavailability (90% or more), and their action is not affected by food.
