What is Loxoprofen sodium tape 100 mg?
Loxoprofen sodium hydrate is a propionic acid derivative. It works by suppressing an action of prostaglandins, lipid compounds causing pain and inflammations. As loxoprofen easily penetrates through the skin, it's possible to use it for local transdermal application via plaster, excluding unnecessary irritation of gastrointestinal tract.
Loxoprofen sodium tape is effective for relieving pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, muscle pain and post-traumatic swelling and pain. Due to its rapid converting to active metabolite within the body, Loxoprofen sodium tape works very quickly.

Indications:
- inflammation and pain in osteoarthritis,
- muscle pain,
- post-traumatic swelling and pain.
How to use
Apply the sheet to the affected area once a day.
Contraindications: do not apply to open wounds, mucosa, eczema or rash, to eyes or around the eyes. Do not use for the following patients:
- children under 15 years old,
- patients with an aspirin-induced asthma or a history of it,
- patients with bronchial asthma,
- pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Important information
Take off the sheet at least 30 minutes before a bath or shower, and do not use this medicine right after a bath or shower.
Do not to touch your eyes, nose, mouth or lips with the hands that have handled the plaster. Wash the hands thoroughly after applying the plaster.
After opening, zip-close the bag and use this medicine as fast as possible. Do not store the opened package for a very long time.
If an allergic reaction occurs, patient needs to stop using the medicine and consult with their doctor. If patient is taking any other medication or treatment, they should consult with their doctor in advance.
