What is Lingzhi Mushroom supplement?
Lingzhi mushroom (Reishi mushroom, Ganoderma Lucidum) is one of the rare natural sources of beta-D glucans, polysaccharides decreasing blood levels of low-density cholesterol. Beta-glucans are known for significant recusing the risk of such cardiovascular diseases as:
- atherosclerosis,
- coronary heart disease
- myocardial infarction (heart attack),
- stroke (cerebral hemorrhage).
Lingzhi Mushroom supplement by the famous Japanese maker DHC Corporation uses Lingzhi mushroom powder from the mushrooms grown inn Japan. Those are particularly rich in beta-glucans, containing at least 288 mg of beta-glucan D in a daily dosage. Lingzhi mushroom supplement also contains ganoderic acid, a group of triterpenes that can be only found in fungi from the genus Ganoderma. Ganoderic acid inhibits 5-alpha reductase, provides hepatoprotetive effect, decreases number of tumor cells and enhances the effectiveness of other anti-tumor medications. Lingzhi mushroom supplement is recommended as a supporting therapy in cancer treatment.
Also, Lingzhi mushrooms contain such beneficial principles as coumarin and mannitol. Coumarin is an indirect anticoagulant, preventing genesis of blood-clots and deep vein embolism. Mannitol, is a sugar alcohol which lowers plasma pressure in patients with glaucoma, hepatic, and renal failure, provides diuretic effect and reduces swelling.

How to take
