What are L-Cartin FF tablets 250 mg for carnitine deficiency (levocarnitine, L-Carnitine)?
Carnitine is a water-soluble vitamin, essential compound in metabolism of most mammals. However, multiple reasons can cause its deficiency in the human body, including genetic disorder, malnutrition, kidney or liver disfunction, taking some medicines like antibiotics etc. The following symptoms usually appear in case of carnitine deficiency:
- Hypotension,

- Loss of appetite in children,

How to take
For adults: take 1500-3000 mg of the active principle (6-12 tablets) a day, dividing this amount into 3 doses.
For children: take 25 to 100 mg of the active iprinciple per kilogram of the body weight a day, dividing this amount into 3 doses.
Your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your age, weight and symptoms. Please note that this medicine contains 250 mg of active principle in one tablet.
Contraindications: do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with renal disorder.
