Kremezin fine granules 2 g for progressive chronic renal failure
What are Kremezin fine granules 2 g for progressive chronic renal failure?
Kremezin fine granules are made of activated carbon adsorbent undergone a special oxidizing. Petroleum-based pure spherical carbon is reduced and oxidized at extremely high temperature. This allows Kremezin granules to absorb uremic toxins in the gastrointestinal tract and to excrete them with the feces, without being absorbed into the body. As the result, Kremezin granules improve symptoms of uremia at the predialysis stage and delay the introduction of dialysis treatment for patients with chronic renal failure. Japanese doctors recommend to start the treatment with Kremezin when the rate of increase in serum creatinine (S-Cr) is moderate or higher (change in 1/S-Cr per month is 0.01 dL/mg or higher).
