Alpitan granules (for hangover headache)

What are Alpitan granules?

Alpitan is based on the traditional Kampo medicine Goreisan, a strictly verified concentration of active medicinal herbal extract, which is officially certified and has therapeutic effect. This medicine is effective for the following symptoms:

• hangover,
• headache caused by a hangover,
• headache caused by alcohol-induced dehydration,
• headaches caused by excessive blood thickening (due to dehydration),
• nausea caused by a hangover,
• dizziness caused by hangovers.

Alpitan is an officially certified second-class drug in Japan. It’s active components speed up the natural processes of splitting alcohol in blood. In addition, Alpitan normalizes the water balance. Due to the easily dissolving granules, this medicine acts much faster than tablets, since it is absorbed into the blood much faster. It should be taken before drinking alcohol, or after returning home (at least 2 hours after meals should pass). For maximum effect, you can take another sachet in the morning, between meals.

Amount: 12 sachets with granules of 1.5 g each

How to take

Dissolve the content of 1 sachet in the water and drink immediately. Adults should take 1 sachet no more than 3 times a day. This medicine needs to be taken strictly between meals - 2-3 hours before or after meals.

Important information

If an allergic reaction occurs, patients needs to stop taking the medicine and consult with their doctor. If patient is taking any other medication or treatment, they should consult with their doctor in advance.
