What are Flomox tablets 100 mg (antibiotic)?
The active principle of Flomox tablets is cefcapene, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic (cephem and beta-lactam) of broad spectrum. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Flomox tablets are effective against a wide variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. They can be used for the treatment of skin infections, surgical infections, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, obstetric and gynecologic infections, ophthalmic infections, otorhinolaryngologic infections, dental and oral surgical infections. Flomox tablets are generally well-tolerated and have few side effects.

Indications:

How to take
Take 1 tablet 3 times a day with water, after meal. According to symptoms, your doctor can adjust the dosage to 1.5 tablets (150 mg of active principle) 3 times a day.
Contraindications: do not use for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Important information
This medicine may have an influence on test for glucose in urine.
If an allergic reaction occurs, patient needs to stop using the medicine and consult with their doctor. If patient is taking any other medication or treatment, they should consult with their doctor in advance.
