What is Eybelis ophthalmic solution 0.02% for glaucoma and ocular hypertension (omidenepag isopropyl)?
The active principle of Eyebelis eye drops is omidenepag, a selective prostaglandin E2 receptor agonist. It stimulates E2 receptor and, by this, promotes aqueous humor outflow via trabecular outflow route and uveoscleral outflow route. As the result, Eyebelis ophthalmic solution effectively lowers the blood pressure in the eye and helps to treat ocular hypertension and glaucoma.

How to take
Apply 1 drop at a time, once a day.
Contraindications: do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with aphakic or pseudophakic eyes and patients with ocular inflammatory disease such as iritis or uveitis.
Important information
- If you wear soft contact lenses, you should take off the lenses before applying and wait 5 to 10 minutes to wear contact lenses again after applying.
- Never apply twice a day or 2 drops at one time.
- These eye drops may cause blurred vision or light sensitiveness temporarily after applying. If those symptoms appear, do not operate machinery, work at heights or drive a car until these symptoms recover.
- If you need to apply other eye drops, wait more than 5 minutes or more between applying.
If an allergic reaction occurs, patient needs to stop using the medicine and consult with their doctor. If patient is taking any other medication or treatment, they should consult with their doctor in advance.
