What are Ciproxan tablets (ciprofloxacin, Cipro, Ciloxan, Neofloxin, antibiotics)?
The main principle of Ciproxan tablets is ciprofloxacin, a new quinolone antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis and exerts a bactericidal effect. Ciproxan tablets are effective for the treatment of broad spectrum of infections including skin infections, respiratory infections, otological infections, urological infections, and ophthalmologic infections.

How to take
Adults should take 0.5-1 tablet (100 to 200 mg of ciprofloxacin) at a time, 2 to 3 times a day. Your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your type of infections or symptoms. For anthrax, take 400 mg at a time, 2 times a day.
Contraindications: do not use for patients with renal disorder, myasthenia gravis; convulsive diseases such as epilepsy or a history of them; aortic aneurysm/aortic dissection or a history of them; pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Important information
Avoid taking this medicine with milk or other calcium-rich food/drink on an empty stomach, as it may reduce absorption of the medicine.
If an allergic reaction occurs, patient needs to stop using the medicine and consult with their doctor. If patient is taking any other medication or treatment, they should consult with their doctor in advance.
