Chondroitin sulfate sodium is an amino sugar polymer made of glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-galactosamine. It is normally found in the cartilage surrounding joints of the body. Chondroitin sodium injections provide building blocks for the formation of new matrix components, which promote matrix regeneration and restore damaged cartilages. How to take
Adults should take between 20 and 300 mg of active ingredient intravenously each day. Your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your age and symptoms. For elderly patients the lower dose is recommended. This medicine contains 200mg of active principle in one ampule.
Contraindications: use with caution for elderly patients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult with their doctor before use.
