What are Cerekinon tablets 100 mg for chronic gastritis and irritable bowel syndrome (trimebutine maleate, Debridat, Recutin, Polybutin)?
Cerekinon tablets's active principle is a trimebutine maleate, maleic acid salt of trimebutine, a spasmolytic agent. It acts on gastrointestinal smooth muscle and improves the motility of gastrointestinal tract, working effectively both for hypermotility and hypomotility. Also, Cerekinon tablets relieve abdominal pain, improve enlarged and bloated feeling and help to restore normal bowel function. Recent researches suggest using trimebutine maleate as a treatment for functional dyspepsia as well.

Indications:
- chronic gastritis,

How to take
Take 1 tablet 3 times a day with water.
This medicine is designed for a short-term treatment. Do not use it for more than 4 weeks.
Contraindications: do not use for children, pregnant and breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with abdominal pain, fever, arthralgia, bloody stool, current severe diarrhea, vomiting, unexpected weight loss, a history of colorectal cancer or inflammatory bowel disease. Use with caution for elderly patients.
