Ceredist tablets 5 mg for ataxia (muscle movement disorder)
What are Ceredist tablets 5 mg for ataxia (muscle movement disorder)?
Ceredist tablets are effective for treatment of the ataxia (muscle movement disorder). Each tablet contains 5 mg of taltirelin hydrate, a mimetic agent of thyrotropin-releasing hormone. This hormone helps to fight with depression, memory impairment, motor disturbances and loss of consciousness. But since this hormone has a rapid metabolic degradation, its effect last long enough when used directly.
Taltirelin hydrate has a similar structure to the hormone, but its action lasts 8 times longer. Taltirelin promotes the release of neurotransmitters in brain and acts on nerve growth factor as well. As a result, it significantly improves symptoms of ataxia in spinocerebellar degeneration, such as movement discoordination, gait abnormality, speech changes, abnormalities in eye movements and others.
