Carvedilol tablets 1.25 mg for chronic heart failure (Coreg, Artist)
What are Carvedilol tablets 1.25 mg for chronic heart failure (Coreg, Artist)?
Carvedilol is a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor antagonist and an alpha-adrenergic receptor antagonist. By blocking adrenergic receptors, it suppresses excess activity of the heart and improves cardiac functions. As an alpha blocker, Carvedilol tablets also help to widen the blood vessels and, by this, to decrease the blood pressure.
Carvedilol tablets are effective for the treatment of chronic heart failure due to ischemic heart disease or dilated cardiomyopathy. Studies showed that carvedilol helps to regulate the heartbeat, prevents the heart attacks and significantly reduces the risk of death.
