What are Bronica tablets 80 mg for bronchial asthma (seratrodast)?
Bronica tablets contain seratrodast, a thromboxane A2 (TXA2) receptor antagonist. By suppressing thromboxane, these medicine helps to relieve the following symptoms and conditions:
- bronchoconstriction,
- vasoconstriction,
- mucous secretion,
- airway hyper-responsiveness.
As the result, Bronica tablets effectively suppress development of an attack and symptoms of bronchial asthma. It is generally safe, well-tolerated medicine with few side effects.
Bronica tablets are recommended as a controller medication for the adult patients with mild to moderate asthma. They improve such symptoms as wheezing, shortness of breath, expectoration, cough and chest tightness and provide reduction in mucociliary parameters. Also, Bronica tablets can be used for the elderly patients, with the recuse of dosage if needed. However, this medicine is not designed to relieve the attack immediately.

How to take
Adults should take 1 tablet (80 mg of active ingredient) 1 time a day after a dinner. Elderly patients may start from 0.5 tablet a day (40 mg of active ingredient).
Contraindications: do not use for the pregnant and breastfeeding women. Do not use in patients with hepatic disorder.
