Bezatol tablets are effective for treatment of hyperlipidemia, including familial hyperlipidemia. The active principle, bezafibrate, inhibits cholesterol and triglyceride synthesis in the liver and promotes metabolism of lipoprotein in the blood. Thus, Bezatol tablets decrease LDL-cholesterol level and triglyceride level, and increase HDL-cholesterol level in the blood. Also bezafibrate therapy has a significant long-term cardiovascular protection that may extend beyond the period of active drug therapy. In other words, Bezatol tablets have a long-term effect that helps to stabilize hyperlipidemia even after stopping using them.

How to take
