What are Azilva tablets (azilsartan, Edarby, Edarbyclor) 20 mg for hypertension?
Azilva tablets contain azilsartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. It works by blocking angiotensin receptors in vascular smooth muscle cells. In this way, Azilva tablets effectively reduce peripheral vascular resistance and lower blood pressure.

How to take
Adults should take 1 tablet once daily. The dosage may be changed by the doctor depending on age and symptoms, but cannot exceed a maximum of 2 tablets once a day.
Contraindications: do not use for the following categories of patients:
- Pregnant, possibly pregnant or lactating women,
- Patients with high levels of potassium in the blood,
- Patients with renal, hepatic or cerebrovascular disease,
- Preoperative patients,
- Patients receiving hemodialysis,
- Patients on a low-salt diet.
