Azelastine hydrochloride tablets 1 mg (antihistamine)
What are Azelastine hydrochloride tablets?
Azelastine is a well-known second-generation antihistamine that has been used in medicine for about 40 years. It works by binding to histamine H1 receptors and inhibiting the production and release of allergy-causing substances such as histamine or leukotriene. Azelastine hydrochloride tablets are safe, well-tolerated, and fast-acting. This medication effectively reduces histamine-mediated symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as bronchospasm, vasodilation, increased capillary permeability and spastic contractions of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. Azelastine hydrochloride tablets are prescribed for patients with bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, eczema or dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and itching of the skin.
