What are Asverin tablets for cough?
Asverin tablets contain tipepidine hibenzate, a synthetic, non-opioid antitussive and expectorant of the thiambutene class developed in Japan in 1959. It helps to reduce coughing and make it easier to cough up sputum. Asverin tablets are effective for the following purposes and tasks:
- Improvement of cough symptoms in the common cold,
- Suppression of cough in patients with bronchitis,
- Facilitation of coughing up sputum,
- Reduction of excessive mucus and sputum.
Tipepidine hibenzate is safe, generally well-tolerated, and has no special contraindications. This is why Asverin tablets can be used to relieve coughs even in patients with various chronic diseases.

How to take
