What are Aplace tablets for gastritis and ulcer?

Aplace tablets are effective for the treatment of gastritis and gastric ulcer with an efficacy up to 93.3% . Aplace tablets contain troxipide, a systemic gastric cytoprotective agent. It works not in the same way as other gastroprotective compounds, which mostly inhibit acid secretion or neutralize the acid. Troxipide works by following steps:

• increases the content of glucosamine and collagen in gastric mucosa,
• increases the amount of mucopolysaccharides in gastric mucosa,
• stimulates cytoprotective prostaglandins,
• enhances epithelial restitution and mucosal healing.

Also, Aplace tablets inhibit proinflammatory mediators and, by this, suppress the gastric inflammation.

How to take

Adults should take 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day after meals. Your doctor may adjust the dosage according to your age and symptoms.
