What is Aojiru green-barley juice by Yakult?

Yakult Health Foods is well-known in Japan by producing popular probiotic drink with bacteria promoting gut motility and sleep. Now Yakult technologies are used for enriching Aojiru – a traditional Japanese health product, green juice made of kale, leaves of barley or angelica keiskei “asitaba”. These plants are naturally rich with vitamins, amino-acids and minerals but those substances are easily damaged by the thermal procession. Aojiru green juice uses a special technology, when the freshly squeezed juice is sprayed in special machines, and dried within low temperature air flow until it turns into a powder.

Green juice Aojiru by Yakult contains such prebiotics as galactooligosaccharides and water-soluble dietary fiber. Galactooligosaccharides are natural indigestible carbohydrates fermented by the microflora of the large intestine. They are beneficial for the growth of beneficial bacteria, increase digestion, cellular immunity, and lower the serum cholesterol. Water-soluble fiber stimulates motility in the gastrointestinal tract, absorbs bile acids and improves the acid/electrolyte composition of intestinal contents. How to take

Take 1 sachet and dissolve it in 100ml of warm or cold water, milk or yogurt. Drink immediately. Aojiru should not be stored dissolved. 2 sachets per day for adults.
