What are Acetaminophen K tablets 900 mg for adults and children (paracetamol)?
Acetaminophen or paracetamol is one of the most common used medicines against fever and pain. It reduces the active form of cyclooxygenase enzymes and inhibits prostaglandin synthesis. Acetaminophen K tablets are effective for the treatment of fever, feeling cold and various types of pain. This medicine can be used for headache, menstrual pain, toothache, pain after tooth extraction, sore throat, ear pain, joint pain, nerve pain, low back pain, muscle pain, stiff shoulder pain, bruise pain, fracture pain, sprain pain and trauma pain. For tooth pain and pain after the tooth extraction acetaminophen is more effective than ibuprofen. As acetaminophen doesn’t irritate the surface of the stomach and or cause drowsiness, it' safe enough to use even for children when strictly following the recommended dosage.

How to take
Take the recommended amount with water or lukewarm water. Do not take on an empty stomach. Take at least 4 hours between doses.
- For children under 5 years old: do not use.
- For children age 5-10 years old: 1 tablet 3 times a day after meal.
- For children age 11-14 years old: 2 tablets 3 times a day after meal.
- For children ager 15 years or more and adults: 3 tablets 3 times a day after meal.
Contraindications: do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for children under 5 years old, elderly patients, patients with heart, liver or renal diseases and patients with gastric or duodenal ulcer. Do not use this medicine for a long period of time.
Important information
Avoid taking alcohol while taking this medicine. In case you have taken these tablets 5-6 times and the pain didn't stop, stop taking the medicine and consult with your doctor again.
